Father could lose leg foot pain and diabetes?

My father has had diabetes for 20 good years and was able to control the sugar. Then he had to have Triple Heart Bypass surgery, about 7 years. The doctors used some of his leg veins, and for the last 5 years, he has had pain in the legs and feet. Now the doctors tell him he might lose a leg?

Diabetics off balance (s) or leg when gangrene and spread of infection. Pain in the leg in this case may be due to congestion or a vein peripheral arterial disease (hardening of the arteries of the leg). Go to the podiatrist and get an accurate diagnosis and get treatmnt good. Being diabetes does not mean you lose your leg. The medicine is so advanced, there are medications to help the circulation and surgery to improve traffic. But most importantly, DO NOT SMOKE.
